About the role
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art digital solutions for public history projects.
- Collaborate with historians, designers, and developers to create engaging and accessible online experiences.
- Conduct user research to inform design and development decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive exhibits and multimedia presentations.
- Ensure accessibility and usability of all digital content.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in web development and digital history.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web development or digital history.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks/libraries.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Python or PHP for backend development.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or D3.js.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.
- Portfolio showcasing previous digital history projects.

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year.
