About the role
Southeastern Museums Conference seeks a dynamic individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and event promotion.
Responsibilities
- Manage social media accounts for the organization, creating engaging content and responding to inquiries
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote events and membership
- Coordinate event promotions and manage RSVPs
- Work closely with the development team to support fundraising initiatives
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing materials for print and digital platforms
- Support the team in other marketing-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO best practices
