About The Position

School District 49 is actively seeking a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) Para Educator at Remington Elementary School. This position is considered temporary and will end at the conclusion of the 26/27 school year. The position requires applicants be bilingual in English and Spanish. This position is at a Title I funded school.

Responsibilities

  • Support students in achieving academic success
  • Provide instruction in English and Spanish
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to enhance student learning
  • Implement strategies to support culturally and linguistically diverse students

Requirements

  • Currently possess and be able to provide transcripts or test scores for one of the following: 48 college credit hours, or an Associates Degree, or passing of a formal state or local academic assessment (ex: ACT-WorkKeys and ETS-ParaPro)

Pay

The pay range is $20.45 to $25.56 per hour, based on relevant prior work experience. The final starting rate will be determined after reviewing the experience listed on the job application.
