Cultural Resources Supervisor, Director of Curatorial Services

About the role

The Southeastern Museums Conference is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, event promotion, and content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization’s social media accounts, including posting content, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote events, memberships, and other initiatives.
  • Create and maintain high-quality marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and promotional videos.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure successful event promotions and sponsorships.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and workshops.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign effectiveness using analytics tools.

Requirements

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience with event planning and coordination.
  • Understanding of nonprofit operations and fundraising principles.
