About the role
Southeastern Museums Conference seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and communications, with a focus on nonprofit organizations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase visibility and engagement for Southeastern Museums Conference
- Manage social media campaigns to enhance brand awareness and audience interaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, and website content
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to inform future strategies
- Work closely with the board and staff to align marketing efforts with organizational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and communications
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations preferred
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Analytics

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
