Cultural Resources Project Manager
About the role
Lead and oversee cultural resources projects across Northern California. Manage research, field surveys, data recovery, and artifact analysis. Direct mitigation monitoring programs and reporting efforts. Prepare proposals and technical documents. Coordinate with clients, agencies, Tribal representatives, and internal teams. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Support business development and client relationship growth.

- Prepare proposals and technical documents
- Collaborate with clients, agencies, Tribal representatives, and internal teams
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Support business development and client relationship growth
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, history, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of archaeology experience (field surveys, reports, and agency coordination)
- At least 2 years in environmental consulting or agency settings
- Strong knowledge of CEQA, NEPA, and Section 106 compliance
- Experience with northern and central California prehistoric and historic archaeology
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Valid California driver’s license
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) or ability to obtain
Qualifications
- Specialized analytical skills (e.g., geoarchaeology, lithics, ceramics)
- GPS and field data collection experience
- Experience coordinating with agencies and Native American groups
- Established client relationships

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., GIS, Adobe Creative Suite)

Pay
Salary will be based on qualifications and/or experience, with an expected starting pay range of $80,000 to $110,000.
