This role supports the Cultivation department through manual labor and plant maintenance, contributing to a natural and carefully controlled growing process.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, repetitive agricultural work following supervisor directions
• Work on ladders or elevated platforms for tasks such as netting and trellising flower plants
• Load plants, place emitters, tuck, spread, prune, and defoliate plants as directed
• Use PPE in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and bagging excess plant material
• Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room tools and equipment after use
• Perform cross-departmental manual duties as needed
• Complete all other assigned duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 21 years of age (18 in CT, PA, and WV)
• Must pass a comprehensive background screening

• Cultivation experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)
• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (up to 95 degrees or greater)
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Work seated or standing for extended periods, including climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movements
• Stand for the entire shift when required
• Visual acuity (with or without aids) for reading, computer work, and detailed inspections in day, night, or dark conditions
• Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more
• Verbal communication at conversation levels in moderate noise environments
