About the role
We’re a startup cannabis cultivation operation in Connecticut focused on building a high-performing, efficient, and team-oriented environment from day one. We’re looking for dependable and motivated Cultivation Technicians to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Plant Care & Cultivation Tasks
- Perform basic plant maintenance including bottoming, thinning, spacing, and trellising
- Transplant (up-pot) cannabis plants using proper technique
- Follow directions and schedules set by the Cultivation Manager
- Ensure all plant waste is handled, weighed, and logged per state regulations
- Sanitize and sanitize cultivation rooms as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Follow all SOPs and state compliance regulations
- Teamwork & Workplace
- Maintain a positive, productive, and team-focused attitude
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures
- Report hazards, injuries, or near misses to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in fast-paced, physical work environments such as landscaping, culinary, or manufacturing preferred
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to pass a state background check

Physical Requirements
- Frequent: standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, pinching, pulling, lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching above shoulder, climbing stairs
- Occasional: stooping, sitting, gripping, lifting above shoulders
- Repetitive hand motion and fine motor control
- Frequent contact with plant resin — may trigger allergies in some individuals
- Occasional exposure to temperature changes and vibration
