Cultivation Technician I

We’re looking for dependable and motivated Cultivation Technicians to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Perform basic plant maintenance including bottoming, thinning, spacing, and trellising
  • Transplant (up-pot) cannabis plants using proper technique
  • Follow directions and schedules set by the Cultivation Manager
  • Ensure all plant waste is handled, weighed, and logged per state regulations
  • Clean and sanitize cultivation rooms as directed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
  • Follow all SOPs and state compliance regulations
  • Maintain a positive, productive, and team-focused attitude
  • Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures
  • Report hazards, injuries, or near misses to management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in fast-paced, physical work environments such as landscaping, culinary, or manufacturing preferred
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to pass a state background check

Physical Requirements

Frequent: standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, pinching, pulling, lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching above shoulder, climbing stairs

Occasional: stooping, sitting, gripping, lifting above shoulders

Repetitive hand motion and fine motor control

Work Environment

  • Daily exposure to cannabis plant material and odors
  • Frequent work in high heat, humidity, and bright light environments (eye protection provided)
  • Contact with cleaning agents and plant nutrients (gloves and PPE provided)
  • Frequent contact with plant resin — may trigger allergies in some individuals
  • Occasional exposure to temperature changes and vibration
