About the role
The Culinary Supervisor reports to the General Manager and coordinates the day-to-day operations of assigned kitchens.
Responsibilities
- Follows Regional Chef and General Manager assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.
- Reports daily on progress and needs to supervisor.
- Leads a team with respect and commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily.
- Performs daily uniform checks with staff and helps maintain kitchen standards.
- Ensures staff prepare food items complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains HACCP standards for food quality, temperatures, product rotation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors, and drains.
- Ensures all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized, safe, and operable; reports issues to Chefs/General Managers.
- Identifies and stores meats, poultry, seafood, pasta, starches, dairy products, and other food items according to established standards.
- Participates in monthly inventory for the department of responsibility.
- Acts as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation, service, and delivery of product.
- Adheres to Legends Uniform and Grooming guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Professional training through a culinary education or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining restaurant/catering facility; full-service casual dining preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and services offered.
- Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
- Sufficient mobility to perform tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull approximately 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
- Must be available for all Stadium events.
- Must be able to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete required safety training.
Pay
$24 to $25 per hour.
