Responsibilities
- Makes sure all food is prepared according to recipes and meets quality and presentation standards.
- Maintains proper labeling and storage of food and ingredients, and keeps required logs and temperature checks current and accurate.
- Fosters positive relationships with associates to reduce turnover and promote engagement.
- Trains and supervises the team effectively, ensuring they are well-trained, knowledgeable about expectations, and up-to-date with necessary certifications.
Qualifications
- Advanced food preparation skills and the ability to coach cooks on necessary techniques.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and find alternative solutions to problems.
- Strong time management and delegation skills.
