Work Schedule
100% FTE, Days/Evenings. Hours are 11:00 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Friday. Some holidays will be required.
About the Role
You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable Reimagining health care – you will help transform the patient experience. The ideal person will be a critical thinker, able to problem solve on the spot while delegating tasks to team members and managing workflows. Excellent time management and communication skills are a must!
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service while working with patients, visitors, and other staff members.
- Follow all UW Health guidelines and policies regarding food safety and sanitation.
- Train and orient new staff members.
- Act as an effective leader for the Culinary Services Department and the organization.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality, or Nutrition preferred
- 3 years food service, hospitality, or customer service experience required
- 6 months leadership experience preferred
- ServSafe Certification within 180 Days required
