Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an experienced and people-focused Culinary Services Director to lead all aspects of our dining services operation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while fostering a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for our residents. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all dining services operations, including food quality, service, sanitation, and safety
  • Develop and implement menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs, preferences, and special diets
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal food service, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise dining services team members
  • Manage food and supply inventory while adhering to budget guidelines
  • Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas and kitchen spaces
  • Partner with the Activities team to plan special events and themed meals
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address feedback and concerns
  • Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement in service standards, presentation, and overall dining experience

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of management experience in food service, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of nutritional guidelines, special diets, and food service best practices
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to remain focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
