The Culinary Manager oversees all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistent presentation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. This role combines hands-on culinary expertise with strong leadership to guide and inspire a talented kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food preparation, consistent presentation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff to follow proper safety, health, sanitation, and food preparation practices.
- Work towards a common goal of excellent care and food service for residents.
- Guide and inspire a talented kitchen team to achieve excellence in their roles.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience as Culinary Manager.
- Certification in a Dietary Manager Course or associate’s degree in culinary/hospitality management.
- Current and valid ServSafe Manager’s Food Safety Certificate.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
