What You’ll Do

• As Lead Line Cook, you will be responsible for the daily execution of meal service while serving as the on-site leader ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational stability.
• Lead daily meal preparation and service according to approved menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals are served on time, at proper temperatures, and meet quality standards.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all regulations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving through approved vendors.
• Direct kitchen workflow, assign tasks, and adjust staffing coverage as needed.
• Step into food production or service roles to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Monitor waste, portion control, and cost awareness during daily operations.
• Collaborate with program leadership and respond to feedback from individuals served.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to food safety and inventory.

Who You Are

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• ServSafe certification required
• Experience in food preparation within a structured or program setting preferred
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and organization
• Able to lead by example in a hands-on environment
• Reliable, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Committed to individual empowerment, recovery principles, and community integration
• Two years of sobriety preferred
