About the role
As a Culinary Lead at Sur La Table, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team in creating engaging and educational experiences for customers. You will also manage inventory, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist in store operations.Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team to deliver exceptional customer service and culinary experiences.
- Create and execute engaging culinary demonstrations and workshops.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in store operations including stock rotation, cleaning, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Food Handlers Permit.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
