Job Summary
TDMC is seeking a part-time Culinary Lead Cook to manage inventory and oversee food production at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
Essential Job Functions
- Partner with TDMC Food and Beverage department leadership to ensure a successful F&B operation
- Support the concept development and operating plan for food and beverage areas
- Drive the execution of unique signature menus, recipes, and special features
- Aid in the training, daily oversight, and mentorship of other team members
- Ensure all team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobs
- Operate the daily kitchen, working with the Chefs
- Maintain consistency in recipe execution, training, and team accountability
- Monitor ingredients, supplies, and equipment through the Chef Team
- Inspect and assess menu items daily to maintain proper par levels
- Engage with venue guests and team members to ensure exceptional hospitality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with venue staff, guests, subcontractors, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 17 years
- Prior experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced hospitality environment preferred
- Experience in high-volume, food service operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, focusing on quality, sanitation, and presentation
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and their proper use and maintenance
- Knowledge of state and local health code requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Working Conditions

- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Standing/walking, traveling stairs
- Exposure to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights
- Exposure to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat from ovens, burners, steam, trays, etc.
- Reaching, lifting, and bending to perform job duties throughout the shift
