Responsibilities
- Play an integral role in restaurant leadership, inspiring your team to work together towards achieving goals and creating an aloha fun environment.
- Share knowledge on seasonal scratch cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and provide world-class dining experiences.
- Create a relaxed destination by promoting a learning and training environment for kitchen members to ensure culinary and financial success.
- Set the course by possessing comprehensive knowledge and ensuring timely execution of all food menus/recipes, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
- Build the perfect oasis by providing constructive performance feedback to kitchen teammates and practicing open, authentic dialogue with the restaurant team.
- Support your crew by facilitating the implementation of company training programs and monitoring team performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of high volume culinary/hospitality experience.
- A current food handler’s card and other certifications as required by federal/state/local law.
- Knowledge of food/restaurant service skills, including all phases of food production and service, storage and rotation, preparation methods, plate presentation, and service and production time standards.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with a proven track record of increasing experience and responsibility.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business.
