We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Culinary Guest Associate to provide direct support for all kitchen and dining functions.
Responsibilities
- Serve all meals promptly using proper portion control.
- Assist the cook with food and snack preparation, maintaining sanitation standards.
- Set up, deliver, and retrieve trays and food carts; ensure diet trays are checked for accuracy.
- Perform all daily cleaning and dishwashing procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and dry kitchen/dining environment; handle waste disposal.
- Inventory, stock, and organize all food and supplies.
- Follow all food policies and make only authorized food substitutions.
- Support the Director/Dietitian in implementing changes.
Qualifications
- Must possess or be able to immediately obtain a Food Handler's Card.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service or food service role. (Senior-living experience preferred).
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to project a friendly and professional image.
- Strong team player who can multitask, show initiative (self-identify work), and foster collaboration across all departments.
- Ability to follow policies, successfully handle cash, and utilize resources in a cost-effective and safe manner.
