About the role
This position is primarily weekday daytime hours. Candidates must be flexible to occasionally work weekends, holidays, or evenings based on business volume, events and period-end deadlines. Preferred bi-lingual Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Manage our digital inventory systems and maintain our recipe database
- Cook staff schedules and keep our team running like a well-oiled machine
- Process invoices and track expenses
- Create reports that transform mountains of data into actionable insights
- Support our team by helping recruit culinary talent using HR platforms
- Cook onboarding and maintain employee records
- Track attendance and schedule training sessions
- Keep all our documentation in perfect order
- Keep us compliant by maintaining Health Department records
- Track certifications and licenses
- Document temperature logs and sanitation audits
- Process and file incident reports
- Become our communication hub by serving as the primary admin contact for kitchen operations
- Cook between departments to keep information flowing
- Schedule and organize kitchen meetings
- Maintain communication boards and announcements
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field (or equivalent experience), two years in an administrative support role, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with data entry and records management, strong organizational and time management skills
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, previous restaurant or hospitality industry experience, familiarity with restaurant management software, experience processing invoices and purchase orders, Spanish language skills
