Cub Kids/School Readiness Paraprofessional - Part-Time

Qualifications

• Familiarity with students in the classroom and their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Ability to assist with student behaviors and provide supervision
• Knowledge of basic academic subjects and standard office equipment
• Effective communication skills and the ability to establish relationships with various stakeholders
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Essential Functions

• Assist students with class work and academics
• Monitor and assist with student behaviors
• Supervise students during morning activities, lunchtime, recess, after-school activities, and special classes
• Help students with personal needs such as dressing and walking
• Work with English Language Learners (ELL) students
• Use technology tools like laptops, SMART Boards, Google Docs/Sheets, and iPads
• Perform other duties as assigned
