Summary of Position
Youth Mentors support the team and work with the youth referred to the program to improve youth engagement, participation, and successful program completion. The Youth Mentor will work with clients in and outside of the center.
Responsibilities
- Transporting clients
- Keeping daily attendance logs
- Participating in daily activities with clients at the center
- Completing daily forms for clients charts
- Assisting Lead Youth Mentor whenever needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
- At least 2 years experience working with high-risk youth
- Knowledge of the Philadelphia JJS
- Must have current PA Child Abuse, FBI and PA Criminal History Clearances
- Health Assessment
- PPD (TB Skin Test)
- PA Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training - ACT 31
- CPR certification for Adult and Pediatric
- COVID Vaccination Card
