About the role

The Educational Technology Assistant supports the Center for Teaching and Learning by providing technological, creative, and administrative assistance. Responsibilities include assisting with workshops, trainings, creative digital services, event planning and execution, website and social media presence, clerical tasks, survey creation and distribution, data input and analysis, and research projects.

Requirements

• Current University of La Verne student with Federal Work Study eligibility for the 2026-2027 academic year
• Experience in a professional, customer-focused environment
• Experience with video editing, videography, and/or photography, and/or graphic/web design, especially within the context of social media
• Interest in all aspects of communications with an aptitude for video editing and production
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Apps, and similar cloud-based platforms
• Comfortable using and learning a range of software and hardware tools
• Strong relational and organizational skills
• Ability to manage own assignments and work independently with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Adobe CC or Final Cut, metadata tagging, and/or database management
• Ability to work within Windows and Mac OS environments
