CT/XRAY TECHNOLOGIST

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT/XRAY Technologist to join our Family Hospital Systems. Positions are available in various shifts including Lead, Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Day and Night.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team
• Work with minimal supervision
• Diagnose and troubleshoot CT hardware and software issues
• Operate and maintain computer systems and software
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
• Use PACS systems and related technology
• Avoid cross-departmental duties as needed

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ARRT-R Radiography
• MRT
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Knowledge of CT anatomy and positioning
• Knowledge of CT protocols and techniques
• Ability to operate CT equipment
• Ability to operate and maintain computer systems and software
• Ability to follow directions and maintain accurate records
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles
