Technician

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS Certificate from AHA
• Hospital and mental health experience
• At least one year patient care experience
• Maintains successful completion of all Orientation Programs to include Iron Temple Training
• At least one year of behavioral health experience
• EKG and phlebotomy experience

Requirements

Possesses the ability to collect, assess or retrieve data reflective of the patient’s status relative to his/her age.

Interprets and evaluates the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s needs and requirements relative to patient outcome.

The PEDT provides care under the direction of the Registered Nurse utilizing the skills and techniques established within job requirements.
