About the role
Partner directly with physicians during complex, specialized imaging procedures to deliver high-resolution diagnostic images and support target interventions. Partner with patients to administer contrast media and prescribed medications safely, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Maintain strict radiation protection standards and a clean, safe clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-resolution diagnostic images and support target interventions during complex, specialized imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media and prescribed medications safely within your clinical scope, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Submit completed imaging, correct anatomical markers, and comprehensive patient histories to the digital archiving system promptly.
- Maintain strict radiation protection standards and a clean, safe clinical environment across all treatment rooms.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s)
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
