CT/X-Ray Tech - Float Day Shift - Diagnostic Imaging
About the role
The float CT/X-Ray Technologist is a clinical position responsible for performing all radiology and computerized tomography procedures in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner in accordance with applicable standards of care and practice, as well as, in accordance with White Mountain Regional Medical Center and Diagnostic Imaging Department policy and procedures. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, the technologist strives to support a patient-centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC.
Responsibilities
- Perform all radiology and computerized tomography procedures in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner in accordance with applicable standards of care and practice, as well as, in accordance with White Mountain Regional Medical Center and Diagnostic Imaging Department policy and procedures.
- Collaborate with all members of the health-care team to support a patient-centered culture.
- Gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC.
- Exercise independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize responsibilities in support of the clinical department under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager.
Requirements
- Required Education: Associate’s degree in Radiology or Applied Science
- Required Experience/Knowledge: Three (3) years’ experience in a Radiology service category
- Knowledge of ARRA/federal radiation guideline
- Required Licensees & Certifications: Current ARRT license in good standing and become CT registry within one (1) year of hire CRT-CT in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
