CT Technologist - Weekend - Overnight

About the role
The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
Schedule: Inpatient Nights, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. No call required.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completion of required clinical hours.
- No prior experience required.
- State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- Obtained ARRT registry OR registry eligible (achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
