CT Technologist - Up to $10,500 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

This is a .7 FTE (56 hours per 2 weeks) position at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN, with the following schedule:

• Week 1
  • Wednesday: 6AM – 2:30PM
  • Thursday: 8:30AM – 5PM
  • Friday: 8:30AM – 5PM
• Week 2
  • Tuesday: 8:30AM – 5PM
  • Thursday: 8AM – 8PM
  • Friday: 8AM – 8PM

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus prorated based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs individualized, compassionate patient care
• Performs high-quality examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately
• Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family and other customer needs
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Participates in creating a culture of patient safety
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness
• Verifies patient identification and documentation
• Communicates with and educates patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
• Adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures
• Accurately documents in compliance with regulatory agency requirements; completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changes

Requirements

• ARRT Radiology Tech
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience in a related role
• Previous ambulatory care experience preferred
• Additional certifications in Imaging
• ARRT CT certification or successful completion within 18 months within 1-1/2 years
