CT Technologist- Temporary

Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general radiology exams (including C-arm and portable) following established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, ensure radiation protection, and maintain comfort throughout procedures.
• Administer contrast agents under Radiologist supervision per site-specific protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine quality checks, report malfunctions, and coordinate service calls as needed.
• Maintain CT competency and adhere to departmental standards. Communicate professionally with team members regarding exams and patient status.
• Greet patients, explain procedures, assist with transfers, and provide reassurance. Inform patients of post-exam instructions.
• Answer phones, schedule imaging appointments, and assist with workflow coordination. Transport patients or perform portable imaging in rooms, ER, or surgical areas.
• Participate in quality control programs, ensuring proper radiation protection, patient safety, and adherence to best practices.

Education & Training

• Associate degree from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Wisconsin state license.
• ARRT CT certification preferred.

Hours

Day Shift: 7a-7p
Weekend Coverage: As required
