Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform CT and general radiology exams (including C-arm and portable) following established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients, ensure radiation protection, and maintain comfort throughout procedures.
- Administer contrast agents under Radiologist supervision per site-specific protocols.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine quality checks, report malfunctions, and coordinate service calls as needed.
- Maintain CT competency and adhere to departmental standards. Communicate professionally with team members regarding exams and patient status.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, assist with transfers, and provide reassurance. Inform patients of post-exam instructions.
- Answer phones, schedule imaging appointments, and assist with workflow coordination. Transport patients or perform portable imaging in rooms, ER, or surgical areas.
- Participate in quality control programs, ensuring proper radiation protection, patient safety, and adherence to best practices.
Education & Training
- Associate degree from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Wisconsin state license.
- ARRT CT certification preferred.

Day Shift: 7a-7p
Weekend Coverage: As required
