CT Technologist PRN

About the role

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Verifying orders, obtaining clinical history, preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, adjusting techniques for radiation safety, and producing high-quality images.
• Assisting with contrast media administration, maintaining equipment, and ensuring infection control and quality standards.
• Providing clear patient communication, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns to minimize anxiety.
• Participating in equipment troubleshooting, cleaning, and department support tasks such as restocking and patient transport.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and documentation, supporting training and team collaboration.
• Responding to emergencies, maintaining patient privacy, and upholding safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications
• BLS certification
• Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities
• Competence in anatomy, pathology, and quality control
• Independent judgment and technical proficiency
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate patient care
