About the role
Performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Executes additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes thorough understanding of radiologic principles to select appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following established protocols and guidelines.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe and clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.
- Achieves assigned goals effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in a specialty area meeting CT competencies.
- Must be registered by ARRT in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- State licensure as required; BLS certification within 14 days; ARRT(R) certification; ARRT(CT) preferred.
