About the role

The role involves providing safe, high-quality imaging services by performing a variety of diagnostic procedures with independence and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Verifying orders, obtaining clinical histories, preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring proper identification, and maintaining patient comfort and privacy
• Demonstrating competence in sterile technique, venipuncture, radiation safety, equipment troubleshooting, and quality control to produce acceptable images
• Supporting patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and responding to emergencies
• Assisting with departmental operations like restocking supplies and maintaining equipment
• Training colleagues, participating in quality assurance, and adhering to regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of radiology experience
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, able to multitask effectively, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
