About the role
Performs those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the Imaging Department with regards to Quality and Quantity, providing services to all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups.
Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Performs imaging procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensures accurate documentation of patient information and procedures.
- Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret images and provide necessary reports.
- Maintains a safe and sterile environment for patient care.
- Adheres to HIPAA regulations and maintains patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required; (CT) preferred.
- Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Florida.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CT equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 annually.
