CT Technologist PRN

About the role

We are seeking a CT Technologist PRN to join HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. This position is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography technology.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
• Accurately document patient information and images in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret and report imaging results.
• Maintain equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Computed Tomography certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• A basic understanding of radiographic principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• No travel required.
• No experience required.

• Proficiency in computed tomography technology.
