CT Technologist PRN

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate imaging procedures, including CT and radiography, by setting up equipment, positioning patients, and obtaining quality diagnostic images.
• Verify orders, gather patient history, follow procedural guidelines, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Respond to emergencies, assist colleagues, and maintain equipment and department cleanliness.
• Document accurately and deliver patient education using effective communication techniques.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience, with preferred CT experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, customer service, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Skilled in anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, handle stressful situations, and adapt to fast-paced environments.

Additional Requirements

• Dependability, flexibility, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Capable of operating all CT department workstations and maintaining a high standard of image quality and safety.
