CT Technologist (PRN)

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety at Cobb Hospital. Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department protocols to capture diagnostic images.Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, report issues promptly.Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and provide age-appropriate care.Administer contrast, position patients correctly, and ensure safety and comfort.Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or correct as needed, and properly document studies.Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and support infection control and safety protocols.Coordinate daily workflow, support department operations, and ensure compliance with regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
