CT Technologist PRN

About the Role

This position performs computerized tomographic (CT) procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries, following radiologist-established protocols. Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, administration of contrast media or medications, monitoring during procedures, and adhering to radiation safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct at least three procedures such as biopsies, TAVR, coronary, extremity work, ablations, or fiducial placements.
• Prepare patients and select appropriate technical parameters.
• Observe and report abnormal patient activity.
• Perform other assigned tasks in accordance with protocols.

Requirements

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification.
• ARRT-CT credential within 12 months of hire.
• Must meet physical requirements, including standing, lifting, and reaching.
• Maintain BLS certification and relevant state licenses or credentials.

No prior experience required.
