About the Role

At the direction of a radiologist, operate computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Perform CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols, and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Review images and archive them with associated patient data. Interact with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

  • 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturday / Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 7 days on, 7 days off
  • FTE: .875

Pay

  • Bonus: Up to $10,000 sign-on

Build your knowledge base and bring your skills to the next level in an environment that supports outpatients, ED, inpatient, procedures, OR, and portable scans. Our team includes a mix of technologists with 10 to 20 years of experience and newer professionals with 1 to 5 years in the field. We also collaborate with partners in the School of Radiology, Lab, Radiation Oncology, and local high/middle schools.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
  • Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
  • 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

Qualifications

  • ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
  • Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
