CT Technologist - Per Diem Variable

Per Diem/Variable Shift position at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR.

About the role

The CT Tech performs CT examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment, while considering individual patients' special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Adjust imaging techniques and patient treatment to produce high-quality images.
• Account for individual patient needs, including age-related considerations.

Requirements

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
• Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board (upon hire).
• One of the following certifications (upon hire or within 1 year):
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
  • National Computed Tomography Technologist (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).

Pay

Pay range: $41.13 - $63.86 per hour (base pay). The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
