CT Technologist - Part-Time - Days

About the role

Under general supervision, specializes in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.

Responsibilities

• Performs computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients under supervision.
• Performs general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed.
• Performs related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Maintain required hours of continued education.
• Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be a healthcare provider certified (BCLS).
• Must obtain BLS Provider within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Must be credentialed as a Nuclear Medical Tech from the NMTCB or ARRT(CT) from the ARRT.
• Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.

Skills

• Proficiency in computerized tomographic radiological procedures.
• Knowledge of general diagnostic radiology techniques.
