About the Role
Operate CT scanners in a hospital setting, perform diagnostic imaging, and assist radiologists with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex CT exams
- Position patients accurately
- Assist with contrast administration and invasive procedures
- Evaluate image quality
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Support patient care
- Train staff and students
- Develop new imaging protocols
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited radiography or related program
- Certification in radiography or a related field
- ARRT CT registration within 18 months of hire
- BLS certification
- Experience ranging from entry-level to advanced, depending on the position level
Skills
- Proficiency in IV placement
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Ability to train staff and students
- Competence in developing and refining imaging protocols
