About the Role

Operate CT scanners in a hospital setting, perform diagnostic imaging, and assist radiologists with procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex CT exams
  • Position patients accurately
  • Assist with contrast administration and invasive procedures
  • Evaluate image quality
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Support patient care
  • Train staff and students
  • Develop new imaging protocols

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited radiography or related program
  • Certification in radiography or a related field
  • ARRT CT registration within 18 months of hire
  • BLS certification
  • Experience ranging from entry-level to advanced, depending on the position level

Skills

  • Proficiency in IV placement
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols
  • Ability to train staff and students
  • Competence in developing and refining imaging protocols
