CT Technologist - Outpatient

About the role

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, Mammography, and Bone Density, primarily in outpatient settings. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and manages on-call and portable exams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Executing studies independently and in various work situations.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure quality control and patient safety during procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) preferred.
• Experience in CT or related imaging areas is advantageous.
• Licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA (excluding MRI) for Illinois.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience.
• CPR certification.
• IV Therapy certification.
