CT Technologist Nights

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring a supportive patient experience. They operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while maintaining safety and minimizing radiation dose. They perform exams according to department protocols, obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety. The role involves maintaining equipment, adhering to infection control, and promptly reporting issues. Key duties include positioning patients, administering contrast, reviewing images for quality, documenting accurately, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. They respond to emergencies, support department workflows, and uphold regulatory compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least one year of radiology experience, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, and BLS certification.
