CT Technologist Nights

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and delivering a positive patient experience at WMCG. They operate imaging equipment independently, adjust techniques for optimal diagnostic results while minimizing radiation exposure, and maintain equipment and room cleanliness per infection control standards. Essential duties include obtaining clinical history, verifying patient identity, explaining procedures using AIDET, providing age-appropriate care, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. They administer contrast agents using sterile techniques, position patients correctly, and review images for diagnostic quality, repeating exams as needed. Accurate documentation in RIS/PACS is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and a minimum of one year of radiology experience. Certifications must include ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
