About the role
Perform advanced CT procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
- Plan and perform CT scans following established protocols, ensuring patient safety and proper preparation.
- Maintain knowledge of various CT systems across multiple locations.
- Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including specialized studies.
- Ensure dose monitoring, adherence to safety guidelines, and proper use of protective shielding.
- Interpret technical factors to optimize image quality and scan efficiency.
- Maintain clinical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, physics, and radiation safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
Skills
- Technical proficiency with CT equipment.
- Strong understanding of clinical protocols, patient care, and safety standards.
- Ability to operate multiple systems, interpret technical data, and perform interventional and CTA procedures.
