CT Technologist - Nights
About the role
PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift position. Join an experienced imaging team at a Level II Trauma Center where you'll care for a diverse patient population while building your career in the Pacific Northwest.
What You’ll Do
- Performs all routine and specialized CT procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
- Operates CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
- Applies ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor.
- Evaluates patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.
- Performs interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.
- May also be assigned to work as a Radiology Technologist.
Qualifications
- Accredited School Required: Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1 year previous experience preferred
- Demonstrated venipuncture competency
- ARRT (R) and/or ARRT(CT) required upon hire; Advanced CT certification is required within 1 year of hire

Pay
$45.30 – $68.01. Shift differentials: $3.50/hr evening; $4.50/hr night.
Schedule
.875 FTE, Friday-Sunday and rotating Thursdays, 1900-0530. Very minimal call.
