About the role
The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They work independently, operating imaging equipment safely, adjusting techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain imaging equipment
- Obtain clinical history and explain procedures using AIDET
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during exams
- Perform CT exams with contrast when needed
- Review images for diagnostic acceptability
- Document accurately in RIS/PACS
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies
- Support operational workflows
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- At least 1 year of radiology experience
- ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT
- BLS certification
