About the Role
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT and diagnostic imaging, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and technical imaging support across radiology services.
Responsibilities
- Interpret exam orders and produce CT and medical images.
- Position and transfer patients, selecting appropriate technical factors for each individual.
- Operate imaging equipment and the radiology information system.
- Assist physicians with administering agents and medications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and report incidents to management.
- Support all radiology areas as needed and collaborate with team members across various shifts.
- Provide instruction related to radiography when required.
- Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and procurement.
- Maintain current CPR certification and fulfill continuing education requirements.
Requirements
- Formal training in radiologic technology.
- Current Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license.
- Adequate experience in radiologic technology.
- ARRT registration or eligibility, with certification achieved within six months of hire.
- Advanced certification in CT or progress toward obtaining it.
- Proficiency in operating all relevant imaging equipment and systems.
