About the role
This role involves operating advanced CT scanners to provide diagnostic imaging services for inpatient and emergency patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex CT scans
- Position patients for imaging procedures
- Assist radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Administer contrast injections
- Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support patient care and safety throughout imaging processes
- Provide training to new staff and students
- Contribute to protocol development and equipment projects
Requirements
- ARRT registration (Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, or CNMT)
- Goal to obtain CT certification within 18 months of hire
- BLS certification
- Experience levels vary: 2+ or 4+ years in CT or specialty modalities
- Proficiency in IV placement
- Demonstrated technical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
